First Thanksgiving Day with Host Family
Mai went to another city to visit her sister with the kids; John went to work, so I had 2 days off and work from Sat. to Friday. John took me outside when he back home. The sunset was so gorgeous, but the waterfall was dried up...and it rained the next day!! It made a big joke to me~

Fun with Teapot
While the weather is good, I take Teapot (a big dog belonged to John and now lives next door) out for a walk and enjoy the fresh air, he likes me so much^^
We also have Spanish-American neighbors; I can practice my Spanish with the Grandma while the kids having a play date. That's a win-win method. But tomorrow it'll have freeze rain here!

Signing Up for Classes
I just had flu shot today, received a pack of useless samples and coupons. On 17th I must go out at 5am to register for my ESL class, and other APs here told me that may be not early enough ="= killing me!!
Yesterday I had my first oral class. The teacher Janine is so interesting! I love this class and made new friends already. I can't wait for next Monday!!

My Vacation
My HF will go to another city on 10-13 Jan, they have no car room for me, so I have 4 days off and 12,13th are counting on my vacation. I’m planning about the trip now. I'm planning to be a back packer. I'm still looking for the tickets on sale, haven't decided where to go, and may be I’ll go to Pennsylvania in autumn.
APs here are planning to go skydiving someday in March, but it's hard to decide a date. Hope I can go.

Christmas
I received the Christmas present from host family yesterday. Guess what? A no-contract cell phone! But I don’t know what to give them, yet…

Au Pair Meeting
We had an AP meeting yesterday. I arrived early and saw the Santa! In the meeting, I knew my new friends were going to the light show "Trail of lights" too. Then we met accidentally!! I met their friends from Thailand too. When I have time, I’ll go there to have fun with a sweet girl named Jay.
