YPA PROGRAM OUTLINE

Established since 1997, the YPA offers undergraduates, graduates and young professionals the perfect opportunity to spend 3 to 18 months in America, gaining professional training and experiencing a new environment and culture. On the average, we place about 200 interns in America each year.

PROGRAM PACKAGES

The YPA offers three (3) packages in order to satisfy your internship needs:

A. Self-arranged placement package (up to 18 months duration)

You will research for your own paid/unpaid internship placement and housing.

To make it logistically easier for your American Host Company to hire you, Aceglobal and our government-authorized partners will be your legal visa sponsors for the duration of your project overseas. We will arrange for you to enter under the J-1 Exchange Visitors Category. The main purpose of the J-1 Visa (Trainee Category) is to provide individuals with bona fide practical training in the U.S. in their professional field.

The self-arranged placement is ideal if you:

• Have your own individual/institutional U.S. contacts.

• Have in mind the exact U.S. Host company.

• Wish to be placed in U.S. state of your choice.

B. Arranged unpaid internship package (up to 18 months duration)

Aceglobal and our US. partner will locate and place you in a career-related business and provide support and supervision for the hosting company and you.

The arranged unpaid internship placement is ideal if you:

• Want to have short-term internships (3 to 6 months).

• Do not mind exploring a budget lifestyle.

• Can be financially independent for duration of internship

• Need to complete your industrial attachment and earn academic credit.

C. Arranged paid internship placement package (12 or 18 months)

We can arrange for paid internships in the following occupational categories: Marketing; Hotel/Travel Management; Commerce and Finance and Business Management. Allowances vary on a case-by-case basis.

The arranged paid internship placement is ideal if you:

• Want to experience the true business cycle

• Want to strengthen your earning power.

• Are experienced and well-qualified in your field.

OUR SERVICES

We have structured our programs to make it the one-stop center for all your needs.

• Conduct thorough briefing sessions to provide full program details and address your concerns.

• Provide individual consultancy services on suitability of packages, field of internship, American-style formatting of resume and cover letter.

• Sponsor and co-ordinate the procurement of the U.S. J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa.

• Submission of your passport, visa application forms and documents to the U.S. Embassy for visa endorsement.

• Prepare you for the interview conducted by the U.S. Embassy Consular and Immigration Officers.

• Help you purchase health and accident insurance (Insurance is mandatory by the U.S. Dept. of States)

• Monthly meetings with your personal Community Coordinator to ensure your training is proceeding smoothly.

• Personal orientation within 48 hours of your arrival in the placement community.
